Reflection

Reflection

Reflection
As 2014 came, it brought to us new beginnings and new endings. And now, fourth grading is done! We’re getting closer into the finish line. But the question is, “were my efforts worth enough for me to achieve what I really want?”

Few days left before the graduation but still I’m not ready for it. I don’t know if my efforts for this grading satisfy myself. For sometimes I get really lazy to do my school works. But I know that I did my very best. Fourth grading is full of knowledge, experience and memories to be cherished. In entering the fourth quarter in ICT, it was really fun exploring.  I learned the uses of adobe Photoshop. And I enjoyed all our activities on how to edit a picture such as black and white, correcting colour, putting hair colour from the tools in the program.

I find it so exciting! Sometimes, I get disappointed with myself because sometimes even though I reviewed hard I still get errors and get low score. I’m also happy because there are memories and experiences I have giving forgiveness to friends, meeting new practice teachers and still getting stronger with the two of us. I will take new beginnings and endings.

Moving on, I will still do my very best and exert more effort as I get into the finish line.

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

Four years ago I was in my elementary days, a child that the only thing that wants to do is to do homework after school, eat, watch television and play with friends. A child that don’t care  about  the future. And if you asked me if what I want to be, I will simply answer you that someday I’ll be a successful Hotel managers and one in the Information Technology expert.

Yes, when we are child we like living in fantasies, we believe in fairy and superhero that will help us in our problems. We believe that in every bottle we find there is a genie inside of it that if we simply rub our hands we will meet genie and he will grant our three wishes. But as years goes by we find it funny we find it weird because we then realize that those things are just castle in the sky, out of reality.

I’m sitting back and having to review my life and what I would like to do in the next 10 years, I realized that I really have it all figured out. My next step would have to be actually putting my best foot forward and claiming that big ladder of success. Well for me life is a matter of choice. Now for my sixteen years of existence and if you will asked me if what I want to become or where I was headed, I will be proudly answer you that I would like to achieve many things.

I’m a fan of online games that’s why I’m inspired to take IT as course and always fascinated with the hotel management. It’s so hard to choose especially when you have several ideas and aspirations in life but I focus on the things I was interested, my goal as IT professional someday is to work on system specification, writing programs, testing and integrating code, creating maintainable code and documentation. Other is hotel management as a manager that manages in hotel administration, accounts, marketing, maintenance, housekeeping, food and beverage management and catering.

But as for now one thing for sure, with all the experience and lesson of life, I will be successful in all endeavor.

Change: It starts with me

Change: It starts with me

We can never get to a place where change is no longer needed. Anyone believing they have already arrived and feel change is no longer needed, they have already learned enough. They say that I am just a kid, that I can't change anything. They say the world is a cruel and heartless place, and it is.  To change the world, it starts with a single person. That single person has to have the moral and emotional strength to stand up for what they believe in.

I believe that in order to change the world, I must first change myself. I have to refuse to give in to the bully, and the "accepted" way that things operate; I must challenge the wrongdoings of others in spite of the consequences. . I must inspire the nation to have hope, and to desire a change in the status quo. To change the world, I must have the strongest character and the desire to share it with the world.

My greatest fear is not death; it is being forgotten after I die. To be remembered, you need one thing: a strong enough character to change the world. . I learned long ago that to make it a better world, it had to begin with me.

Starting today and starting with me, I will make a change in my life, the lives of my family and the world I live in.

New Year…New Me

New Year…New Me

New Year is the time at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar's year count is incremented. In many cultures, the event is celebrated in some manner. The New Year of the Gregorian calendar, today in worldwide use, falls on 1 January (New Year’s Day), as was the case with the Roman calendar. There are numerous calendars that remain in regional use that calculate the New Year differently.

As 2013 draws to a close, I reflect back on everything this year brought me as well what I’ve learned and what I would like to do differently in 2014. A ´New Me´ will enable me to succeed and to become a stronger leader.

But this year I’m going to stop giving up. I’m going to stop disappointing myself. I’m going to push myself to live up to my own expectations, while at the same time trying to make sure those expectations aren’t unreasonable.

As we enter the New Year, we need to start it off right and the place where we need to start first is change within us!
